My latest try out - Chicken bake rice

Looks not bad yah... geez... Did tis on sat... Pin says, its yummy!!! Didn't use the rite cheese (cheapo mah)... Else, it shd looks even better... At least the golden brown shd be more uniform.... Well, tis isn't a very difficult dish indeed.... Thanks for the recipe n advice dorcas.... You're like my walkin recipe.... heee.... I luv tis kind of 1 dish meal.... Easy n quick to whip up kind.... Oh & muz thank bibi & EW osoo... For having b'fast wif me on sat & helping me wif my marketing...

I'm all excited abt today's picnic... since the day yvonne suggested.... haf been wantin to picnic for a looong time... tho tis morning rained, it didnt dampen my spirits.... now tat it had stopped, i believe God is gonna gif us a nice, cool weather later to enjoy ourselves.... thanks Yvonne for organising!!!

Rainbow

It was yet another boring working day.... but the moment i stepped out of my office bldg, i saw the rainbow... immediately i took my phone & got a snap shot... tis really brightens my day... suddenly i felt, no matter how wrong things may haf gone... or how irritating or frustrating the matter or people around u can get.... it'll b over one day... & u'll see the rainbow again.... wat a way to console myself... heee....

Simple dinner

Not knowing what to haf for dinner... we decided to whip up a simple meal since we haf some vege in the fridge...

So we had vege, bak kut teh soup (left fr yest), steam egg & bah ting (canned food)...

Ehh... taste ok la... geez.... Making an effort to cook more often....

Tis yr, my bday happen to be on cny eve... sob sob... at tis age, its not like i'm dying for pple to celebrate 4 me... but still, its kinda sad coz i cant be celebrating my bday, at least wif pin on my actual day.... in view of the reunion dinner tat we gonna haf on sun nite & sat nite, pin celebrated for me today...


For the 1st time, he planned the dinner & gave me a surprise.... after work, we met at orchard.... i've got no idea where he's bringing me... until we headed the royal plaza hotel direction.... true enuf, he made a reservation at Carousel... we ate fr 630pm till at 945pm... more den 3hrs... guessed we realli tried to make the buffet dinner worth while.... geez.... of coz, we oso spent some time there chattin & enjoyin the ambience....

Spring Cleaning

RINGGGGG..... Alarm rang, eyes wide open.... "Pin, wakey.... Ned to start our our cleaning early..." Well, he was alittle irritated intially tho we had long agreed to spring clean today.... as he cant stand it when i keep rushing him.... heee..... soon he's ok....

we changed the guest rm arrangement & gaved the comp table cupboard a wipe... cleaned the living rm & 2 bedrms windows + grills... washed all the blinds, 2 fans and ceiling fan... wiped the tv console & shoe rack top.... changed n washed our bedsheets...

after a whole day of cleaning.... pin & i are dead tired.... finally can take a break & go out for dinner liao.... here are some pics of our home after cleaning....

Annual Leave

Uhmm its such a headache... tryin to find the 'best' day to take leave tis mth....
23 jan - its a fri & its so near cny, so prob all will b in the holiday mood....
28 jan - boss mayb takin, so dun wan take the same day... geez...
30 jan - dept haf got a 'lo hei' lunch + its a fri again..

in case, u're wondering y i dun like to take leave on fri... its coz fri, my coy officially ends half hr earlier... heee.....

My Saturday...

Well, it's a usual sat.... Perhaps boring to some.... The onli unusual thing we did, was to meet andrew & karen for b'fast.... Den went to their plc for awhile.... geez....


Came home, put some clothes to wash, read newspaper, had lunch... Then i started to laze on the floor... ended up taking a 2+ hr nap.... geez..... Pin is now studying... after all the playin game... Hopefully later, we can get to go out for dinner & shop alittle....

Mum's 61st Bday Celeb

It's mum's 61st bday today... After our sunday svc & some flat viewing, we met mum at vivo city to do some shopping... den adjourned to 'dian xiao er' for dinner... pin & ew bought a small cake for mum.... guess she muz b veri happy.... geez....

after dinner, we took a stroll along the 'seaside'.... we left dad & mum alone to haf personal some time tgt... & to enjoy the 'seaview' tgt....

We've been wanting to try Lawry's... In fact its more like my sis & i... geez.... Finally the opportunity came... Somehow, pin had this 1-for-1 voucher @ Lawry's, expiring tis yr.... We've had dragged for quite awhile b4 we finally decided to go for it today... before the vocuher goes to waste... Great ambience & ribs.... The meat is so tender....

tHE YeAr is ENDING....

so fast... 2008 is coming to an end... lookin back, many things had happened during tis yr... fr auditor to a/ctant, fr single to married... fr no hse to getting a hse of our own.... one person i muz thank is God... without Him, i wouldn't haf made it thru....

into the new yr... my new resolutions are.... wanna try to cook more often at home... wanna be draw closer to God... wanna be a even more supportive n understanding wife... wanna spend more time wif my family, esp my sis... since she'll b getting married nx yr... wanna eóne to haf good health... wanna my guit skill to move to a higher level.... wanna be happier.... wanna work less yet get more pay (wahhaha.... dreaming...) so many 'wannas'.... some many be achievable, while some may not... in any case, i'll juz do my best... n be happy.... tat will do.... geez....

Gathering at our Humble Home

wanna thank God for blessing me wif a supportive husband.... arranged for a few gatherings at our humble home with our relatives n frens over the long wkend.. the preparation n cleaning up was soo tiring man.... i love the gathering n fellowship... heee.. but i hate the cleaningup... wahaha... so lazy rite.... but thank God for my pin... he was helpin out wif all the prep n cleaning work...

i'm not excited at all abt the office shift... we're now at revenue hse, novena... sianz... much further fr my hse.... to start off are lates nite for the past few days.... here, if u work till like 8 or 8+, its late... coz u'll b the last person in the office... of coz it's nothing compared to my audit life previously... but the pay oso cant compare mah... heee... anyway, here, u work late is ur prob...

how could one be such a excel idiot? literally like a handicap... somemore went for course... bullshit abt how great the project was... yet cant do simple things.... & keep asking qns tat did get processed by the brain...

Medical Appt...

Haf went for my medical appt on thurs... test results will b out 2wks later... so my appt is exactly 2wks later... pray tat i'll be cleared...

Thanks bro bt & fam 4 taking time on monday nite to come our hse to pray & dedicate our home... soo happy tat it's finally done... but of coz i do noe tat we shd con't to pray continually for our home as well....

Updates! - Lee Hom's concert 08 & our HOME

oooo... its been some time since i last updated my blog... oh can finally revealed the little surprise tat i was preparing... its actually a pair of LEE HOM MUSIC-MAN WORLD TOUR 2008 concert... a little surprise for pin... ganged up wif SJ coz he's gg wif kris as well... so gei gei say mtg dem for dinner at kallang on 1 nov... den continued to go SIS to take a look.... den was asking pin if there's still tix, shall we get it... hee... pin was realli unaware at all.... wahahhaa... till i took e tix out for the lady at the entrance.... he was indeed v shocked.... =p

okiez, our home... more settled down... starting to haf a little of the 'my home' feelin.... happy.... gotten our internet & residential line too... so kinda back to civilisation.... oh another great achievement... at least for myself... we had our 1st home cooked dinner today, b4 gg for cg... of coz i cooked la... hee... but its sth realli realli simple... wahahhaa.... but both of us were eating happily.... geez....
