tat morning after b'fast, we visited the 1st road & railway dual purpose bridge in China, taking 8yrs to complete without e help of foreigners - Nanjing Yangzi River Bridge. This bridge symbolises e Chinese independence & pride. Here, we saw some veri exquisite crystal cravings...

Nx we drove to e 'Xuan Wu' Lake for a quick session of photo-takin around e area.... Wahahhaa... wat a pose rite??? dun worry, wont do tat for my weddin photo-shoot... hahaha... Thereafter, the nanjing tour guide brought us to visit some jade exhibition den lunch...


Now we're on our way to Suzhou.... for the Taihu Lake Film & TV Studio... where e Kingdom of 3 Romance was filmed... the plc was sooo big... we couldnt even comb thru entire plc... perhaps u'll ned at least a full day's time to go round e entire plc....

tat dinner we were served with their local famous dish - BIG PorkRibs... the bones are really huge... but not much meat.... & we had an early nite rest....

tHE 2nd day, we're to set off fr hangzhou to nanjing (one of e 6 ancient capital cities of China).... b4 we leave hangzhou, they brought us to e tea merchant to taste e famous 'Xi Hu Long Jing' tea.... e air here is great!!! oh we saw tis big, fat caterpillar look alike insect.... after listenin to e long tok on e goodness of e tea... & many had bought... we drove off... here they stopped for a while to let us take some last pics of hangzhou... behind us is e 'Lei Fung' Pagoda at e westlake....




we had lunch & den headed straight to nanjing.... after a 3-4hrs drive... we finally reached our destination... 1st attraction stop @ nanjing - 'Zhong Hua Meng' juz not long after we stopped here for our sigh-seeing, e gloomy sky started to pour... tats y we didnt manage to take alot of pics here.... sob sob.... nite came, they brought us to tis shopping street at Wuxi - 'Fu Zi Miao'.... there we got some dvds at a pretty cheap price... but still nt as cheap as those ive gt previously fr my biz trip last time..... didnt manage to get any clothes, etc... time given was so short to comb thru e entire area.... arrrgh......

it had been quite long since my family last went for a holiday tgt.... tis trip was in fact a long awaited trip.... was supposed to go 2yrs back... in any case, we finally made it come true.... & wif even more pple - ew, pin & his mum... we had a gd 8 days holiday.... i enjoyed myself... tho pretty tired & at times a little frustrated.... still, it was great!!!

WOW... i seriously tink its good.... alot of new stuff tis yr.... plus e location is much better.... tho seatin capacity is lesser compared to national stadium.... you can oso catch a pretty good view of e'thing fr e sea to e sky.... & even the fireworks fr one fullerton & many other areas nearby.... perhaps, its even better den watchin in e hotels coz we can hear the sounds of the fighter jets, fireworks.... no regrets gg man... thanx jen! for jio'in us to go.....

we had our simple get tgt today... despite vivi is on leave, she made her way down to harbourfront to mit sam, ling & myself 4 dinner @ sakae.... tho it was short, i enjoyed e time we had tgt... thanx sam & vivi for e treat... & not forgetting yl, thanks so much for e ride home... okiez, done wif my presentation preparation... gg to koon liaoz.... gd nite!!!

4 e 1st time, my parents had met up wif pin's mum yest'd.... it was alrite... thank God!!! bibi & ew managed to rush down to join us too..... thanx bibi, i tink ur presence did help...

not sure wat exactly happened... b4 tat was still tokin... joking.... & was alrite... nx moment she juz kept quiet... & didnt wanna tok anymore.... was it e topic?? isn't it amazin??? one's mood or attitude can juz change in a split second.... no one can comprehend wat happened... not till u say it out...

tis round is not goood.... not as easy as last mth... was stressed.... kept makin mistakes... plus haf got additional reports & slides to prepare... some were careless mistakes... while some amendments were simply coz they're being so particular... nitty gritty stuff oso muz pick on... haiz.... but i do admit tat i'm pretty careless.... God pls help me!!!

hahaa.. suddenly was motivated to cook sth tis wkend for my family... decided to cook prawn noodles... coz yvonne said its pretty easy.... n i tot so too.... geez.... thanx yvonne, for giving me e instructions.... so i tried today... uhmm i find it ok onli.... but was happy tat my family, pin & ew were all veri encouragin.... thanx!!! but nvm, i'll try again nx time ya!!!

Crab Feast

bibi suggested having crab... i second e idea... & we got it... mami was ever so nice to us... alwaz putting us & our requests above all.. thanx mami!!! the crab was delicious.. n it definitely wasnt easy to prepare coz mami gotta buy, kill, clean den cook... there was so much roe... i'm so satisfied now.. so does bibi, right??? geez...

MY WkEnD Wif a CaR

tHaNk GoD for providing us wif a car!!! pin was blessed wif a car over e wkends coz pet & wife went on holiday... so left e car wif him... juz rtn 2day...


started my sat visitin my beautician for my long overdue facial while pin & bibi went for a swim after droppin me off... met dem after my swim den went for lunch @ vivo... e car realli came at e rite time... was plannin to take e cable car wif pin tis sat... coz pin haf nv taken & since there's a 50% less for s'poreans... was wanting to take fr mt faber but its difficult if without a car... so wif tis blessing, we managed to do so... e day was so simple n relaxing... no rush... no stress fr all e plannin.... we stopped at harbourfront... cuddled in e comfy sofas of pacific coffee to haf some pastries and drinks... den cont our cable car ride to catch a glimpse of s'pore evening.... after e ride... we headed to labrador park for a stroll... there were many families & pple... some just enjoyin the breeze & e sunset... some were having picnic... while some were having bbq... isnt nice to realli take time off e bz , hectic schedules to relax & juz be wif ur family or loved ones... be it making some simple dishes... or excercisin tgt... or merely having a cup of coffee/tea... our stroll was not too long coz pin wanna b home to watch e soccer match.. but its enuf for me... the match was s'pore vs aust.... its e last game held in e national stadium... it was 3-0... s'pore didnt win... but they've played well... well done!!! after e match, we went chompx2 for dinner (or shd it be supper??) wif jen & matt...

monday.... lookin fwd to knockin off... coz i'll b mtg pin for dinner den to ben & jerry @ dempsey for desserts.... oso to show pin tis nice cosy plc.... pin brought me to botanical gdns for dinner.... oh & we met a super big grasshopper at our dinnin table too... hahhaaa... i was scared stiffed... e saddest thing was, ben & jerry was closed... y?? i dunno... perhaps its mon... so we could onli take a pic outside e store.... so sad rite... but its ok... i've got pin wif me... so its nt abt e plc... its abt e companionship.... geez....

2day, pin picked me after work... b4 we rtn e car.... we went to tis restaurant/bar @ pasir ris park for dinner... uhmm sorry no pics, coz didnt bring cam... food, nt bad... price, alittle steep i feel... but embience was great!!! i like it.... coz of e after office jam, we didnt haf much time for our dinner... worst still... we got fine for nt puttin carpark coupon... hahahaa.... we had barely parked for 40mins.... & the tix came juz 10mins b4 we got back to e car.... wat a day???

WhY muz it B a RING???

A ring is of course a circle and it symbolises of eternity and everlasting as it has no beginning and no end. Juz like a marriage, it speaks of eternity.

Yeah, pin & i had came tgt a few yrs ago... we first met as frens.. then tis simple, basic level of frenship developed into another level of frenship... despite advices askin us to tink twice, comin fr our loved ones, reminding us of our age difference... we carried on building tis frenship.... coz we've prayed, tot & toked thru... so now here we r... we've reached a time where we're preparing tgt for our nx phase of life.. some of ever told me tat we can take months & months to prepare for the BIG day.. the wedding day... n b so focused on it till we 4got all abt why is all these happenin... so, more imptly is our preparation for our marriage... i tot it veri true... geez...

So yest i happened to leave office alittle later den usual... & pin happened to leave office alittle earlier den usual.. we both met up... ended gg to orchard with no prior plans made.. & we walked into a jewellery shop... tat nite we bought OUR wedding rings... we're so happy... esp me coz i've got a budget set for the wedding rings... didnt wan to splurge too much on juz the rings... coz to me, its nt e how expensive the rings cost... its the significance... & tat we understood e significance... the rings tat we had our eyes on were above our budget... so i've decided to excercise my little gift again & spoke to e sales person... after pressing the buttons of e calculator vigorously... he managed to gif us a price tats veri near our budget... juz 5bucks above our budget... we accepted.... so in 6 - 8 weeks time, we'll be gettin our new wedding rings as both our sizes r alittle too small... they'll be makin a pair for us....

tml is jen's bDaY... HAPPY BIRTHDAY 2 U (x3)... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JEN!!!but.... we went celebrated for her yest... since she's gonna spend e special day wif a special person.... knowing she luvs celebratin wif e whole gang of frens.... ehh but yest wasnt a veri big grp tho.... sorry yah..

well, we all tot hua2 gonna b e latest... who knows she was e 1st to reached.... & e rest of us juz somehow gotta work late... yah... of all daez.... oh, we went cafe iguana @ riverside pt.... food?? uhmm... so so onli.... its more like a drinkin chill out plc tho....

after tat we decided to adjourn to another location... jen suggested tis romantic plc which she actually wanna go tml.... ehhh but ended up gg wif US last nite... geez... cheer up la... we had fun too!!! its e ben & jerry @ dempsey rd.... nice cosy plc.... veri different fr e rest of e outlets...

1st PMC session

yESt aftn we bought a new still digital cam... tho not exactly the one tat i'll go for, still like it quite alot... coz e previously round i made e decision... so tis round my sis made it.... it white & pretty handy... den in e early evenin was our 1st PMC session wif our counsellors cum coordinators.... PMC = pre-marital counselling... we started wif qns askin our family backgrd.... it was a gd time coz the qns had made both of us shared our feelings on certain areas.... i'm lookin fwd to the nx session....

2day, bibi, ew, pin & i went chinatown tgt... we went to make a holiday bookin - shanghai... it was a long awaited trip... my family was preparing to go 2 yrs back... but couldnt make it for some reasons.... so we're plannin to go tis yr in aug... so bibi & i had decided to gif papa & mami a treat... afterall they had taken care of us for so many yrs... tis time wif, ew, pin & his mum too... wow, challenging yeah!!! hahahaa... hope e'thing goes well.... & e'one will enjoy to their fullest....

i noe u muz b veri tired, physically & mentality... having to work till now... & late for the past few days oso.. look on e bright side, u'll b a tougher person.... in future, e'thing will means nothin... watever, it may b... i'll b givin u my support alwaz!!!

its nearing 12am... uhmm wat will the results be??? hopin for some good results... but on e other had, i'm tired... tired fr all the disappointments tat i've had.... in any case, i'm still tryin to remind myself tat "He make all things beautiful, in His time".... not ours...

iTs not an ordinary sat

Of coz its not another normal sat.... its our long awaited bbq.... wif ling, keith, kiara, vivi, yl, sam & kq.... i was suppose to get marinated chicken fr a fren... but couldnt... so ended up gotta do the job myself... so went to get the chicken wings & meat on thurs after work.... did the marinating work till abt 130 last nite.... geez... coz i came home late.... however, the job wasnt easy at all... ned to wash den marinate... so it took me abt an hr & a half to fin the work....

last nite, met up wif steph, jas, mich & leh hung.... it was mich last day of work.... we had a great time tgt.... catchin up wif each other's life... sharing our work experiences... wahahaa... ya, okiez... bitchin k!!! but tats life... & most of e time tats how we keep ourself updated wif wats happenin... hahaa..
mich, no matter wat decision u had made, stick wif it & b happy!!! we'll b happy for u too!!!

2nD WeEk oF WORK!!!

well, my veri 1st smm report is finally done & sent out 2day... deadline was yest... thank God tat e'thing went well... my mgr said its a good attempt... thru tis short little time, learnt a few new excel skill... geez, so happy!!! okiez, the nx reporting deadline is tis fri... mgt reporting.... hope all will go well...

hooray, 2 days down... wkend comin soon again... wil b having another bbq tis sat.. wif vivi, sam, ling & all our partners.... juz had a fam bbq last sat tho... still lookin fwd to tis sat.... perhaps, its more of wanting to mit up wif dem...

4th day of WORK...

wah so scared... i was nearly the last to leave office 2day... uhmm guess i'm realli slow at my work... haiz... kinda sad... not sure how to use SAP... & reporting.... & the many other systems.... e'thing tat i gotta do, i'll ned to work 1st figure how the previous mth was done... tis is realli time consuming man... God, plsss help me to grasp the work & grant my colleagues xtra xtra patience wif me...

well, weekend is drawing near.... the week is halfway gone.... saturday swimmin & bbq here i come!!!

iN2 my 2ND day of work... arms were alittle 'suan'... butt abit painful... heheheee... all thanx to e our 1st ever worship min sports day on sat!!! we had badminton... 2 courts of an hr each miraculously became 3 courts... & lasted us 2.5hrs.... thank God for tat!!! but it was fun... response was great... so we suggested to haf 2nd, 3rd, 4th... sports day.... to keep ourselves healthy in the midst of serving...

i was bz @ work... started to haf some hands on work to learn... being v new to the nature of e work.... the little tasks had keep me bz e whole day... pray tat i'll pick things up fast & will b able to contri & work efficiently.... oh a great thanx to all those who had buzz to wish me on my 1st day of work... all u guys, u noe who u r!!!

k... gotta go... ned to tink of our 16/6 bbq list... gonna haf a family bbq tis sat... & nx sat wif vivi, sam & ling.... sooo lookin 4ward to it!!!!
