Well... it diDnt JuZ sToPPed tHeRe...

my 40 photos didnt juz stopped there... coz there werent any photos for our kua.... i felt alittle wasted... so e nx day i called my bridal studio up... to tell dem i wanna add a few more pics... pin & i had discussed.. both of us knew in our hearts the max no. photos we wanna add... & tats 4.... we could nego for lower price unless we add at least 10pics... in end we selected 5 extras... & we wanna remove 1 fr the 40.... but they say cant coz e colour were adjusted... uhmm still dun quite understd e logic tho... anyway i insisted tat i dun wan... in e end, they say will include tat for free... kept to our target still... realli thank God tat we could withstand e temptation all the seemingly fantastic deals to add more & more photos....

600plus... down to onli 40... its SeRioUsLY not eAsY...

We reached abt 230pm... stayed till abt 730... oooo.... tats like abt 5hrs... hahhaa.... yest, pin & myself, tgt wif bibi, ew & jesx was at our bridal studio lookin & lookin thru the 600 odd photos... pin & i took like an hr to go thru 1 round of all e pics... its realli not an easy task to choose onli 40 out of the many pics.... we gotta b hard & firm... we were pretty stringent even during our 1st cut... down to 200 odds pics... den the 2nd cut to abt 100 odd... thanx to u guys... who were so hard on us.... the last cut to 40 was the toughest & the most painful... there were many pics which i like but juz gotta gif it up.... tho pin did suggest toppin up... we did it.... & kept to 40.... so glad yet sad... on my way home, i was feeling sad... images of our pics kept flashing in my mind... well, to pay for more pics or to keep to the number of pics we haf... it's realli up to how u look at it...

NO GOVT in office 2day... geez... had a slightly longer lunch... met vivi & jon for lunch... jon casually asked abt our hse after wedding... my reply as usual & to all... i've gt no home... the simple qn had once again stirred up some tots within me again... tinkin of all e blessings tat my frens ard me haf.... i began to tink y are e'one so blessed... n wat abt josh & i??? vivi reminded me to count my blessings... & tat my greatest blessing is having josh... which is TRUE!!!

many times, we onli focus on our worries, troubles, difficulties, adversities.... & begin to question y is life so unfair... where is God when we needed Him... there are oso many times we were blessed in big or small ways... & many times we overlooked tat.. took tat for granted.... didnt even thank Him....

FiNaLLY the much awaited day came... pin & i had been doin our little shopping to prepare for our yesterday's photo-shoot... more for him.. coz my gowns are all fr the bridal studio... so pin had a little more headache... geez... gotta see if the shirt matches my gowns... the ties matches the shirt... if shd or shd nt wear tie... blah blah... see, its nt as easy ya... as part of our preparation, i had my hair dyed & my final fitting last sun (28/10) & pin had his hair trimmed too....

i had abt 2hrs of make-up & hair-do for the 1st style... initially, we were both alittle stiff... hahhaa... but slowly it kinda got better & we're more relaxed.... the weather was fine till abt 3pm.. when we're abt to go for our outdoor shoot.... it started drizzling... i was so sad... they said probably gotta change another day... coz the sky is too gloomy & photos wouldnt turn out well... since, we had arranged wif ben & jerry & its indoor, we went ahead.... the weather became better.. so we went to marina south.... but on our way to east coast, it started drizzling.... it stopped after awhile tho.... it was pretty fun.... i didnt feel too tired thru'out the shoot except for my eyes... my eye-lids felt so heavy... after the entire shoot, i suddenly felt soo hungry & my legs were so tired.... poor pin was veri tired too... the worst thing was he had to carry me... whahahaa....

oh, i muz realli gif a BIG thanks for bibi... for being wif me for our final fit & photo-shoot...

pin & i finally had our dinner treat @ traders hotel Ah Hoi's kitchen.... i had purposely arranged it to be after our photo-shoot to kinda celebrate... hehheee... uhmm, its a long story how we got tis treat... oh & it was suppose to be at cafebiz instead... in any case, thank God for it... we had our fill... we kinda calculated & our dinner amounted to abt 150bucks.... wow!!! but it was seriously veri difficult to choose wat to eat coz e'thing are soo expensive... geez... here's some pics....

remembered slightly more den a month ago, i signed up a package?? went for my 1st body scrub... did the seaweed detox... pretty relaxing... & feeling sooo smooth now... but... arrhhh... yet i felt so exposed & naked juz now... heheheee..... in any case, was a good experience...

on course today... & all the way till wed... sooo happy!!! coz means the day starts later & ends earlier... geez.... so i went o my sum biu's hse to stay overnite... wah, took an hr to get to her plc fr tanjong pagar... to visit her & my latest nephew.... he's such a charming cute little chap...

I'm so HAPPY 4 U!!!

After much tears, praying.... & praying.... finally u got it!!! So God hears ur cries... its realli amazing how God can b in ctrl of the entire situation & decision-making process....



oh, & i could onli make tis happy post after e'thing is cnf.... so now tat its cnf.... she'll b startin nx mon!!!

17th Oct Nite

Wow wow... its been a looong time since i last updated my blog... been bz??? uhmm ok lah... work schedule is alot more predicatable.... definitely a more balanced life now... aiyo, dun be envious la... there's no perfect situation... wif more time of coz there's sth u gotta sacrifice too.... heheee... @ work, still alot of things to learn... likewise for my r/s wif pin... & my family.... its probably gonna b a life-long, ongoing learning process....

met up wif steph, hj, lori & alex yest... to celeb steph's belated bday... its kinda quite awhile since we last met.... we tok abt our days in sch... those were the days... so happy & carefree.... realli hope to go on a trip wif all of dem.... yupz, the 5 of us.... geez.... guys, rem.... muz mit up a wk b4 my big day ya!!!

When u ask, God surely hears.... however, u may nt see immediate answers.... coz He has his time... a few mths back, i prayed for financial blessing.... it onli came tis mth... nothing much abt the amt... more of happy & excited over seeing God's faithfulness... even little things like gettin a pair of shorts... not onli did i managed to use a voucher, managed to even take advantage of the store wide sales too.... so ended up payin even lower den wat i expected....

pin & i had arranged to go 'church viewing' 2day... arranged wif thomson baptist church.... a little walkin to do fr novena station.... however, e plc is pretty nice.... & e person-in-chrg seems not bad too.... we still haf another church in mind.... if available, we'll arrange to take a look oso....

coral spring bto is out juz few days ago.... pin & i were discussing & contemplating if we shd go try for it... estimated delivery of possession is 2012.... haiz... tho usu will b earlier... but still.... wat shd we do??

last wk, jesx told me tat there's tis package... 6 sessions of massages with body scrub... i checked wif db & vivi the price... seems like its pretty reasonable... so we arranged to get down 2day to chk out the package.... who noes... e lady said the offer was over.... recommeded us another package.... more sessions wif flexibility of doing watever treatments... & use of the facilities... plus there's 0% interest instalment... i was nt interested at all... tho it seemingly looks quite attractive.... coz i wanna be focused & nt fall into such 'seeminly looks fantastic' deals.... dun wanna b an easy sales target.... hehehee.... claps claps.... to cut the long story short... we ended up getting 6 sessions of massage & body scrub (3 each) for the earlier price which we're comfortable.... e package allows us to choose any types of massage & body scrub too.... tis my 1st time takin up such packages.... pampering myself.... geez..

jesx, dun tink so much liao... u may b tinkin tat u're nt e one gettin married... y on earth, spend such $$... nvm, juz go ahead & enjoy all the 6 sessions...

it has been quite awhile pin & i went for a movie tgt... actually i havnt visited for quite sometime too.... bibi & ew had planned to go for Ratatouille.tis wkend... asked if we wanna go.... been so buay pai sei... i agreed... so pin & i went too... geez.... nice show.... sooo cute... GREAT!!!

MU Trial....

Woke up at 920, wash up den to prac e songs coz tml i'm sts.... den went down to my bridal studio for gown fittin... to cnf my evenin gown & outdoor shoot gowns.... josh had to choose his suit oso.... reall pray tat all alterations will turn out well.... esp for josh suits....

den we went for our weddin shoes hunt... still couldnt get sth nice, fitting & reasonably priced..... haiz.... evening we headed to pretty box for my make-up trial..... uhmm not bad... hehehee..... no pics?? ehh.... shy la... geez....

Y PLaY SucH a tRicK oN US???

26sep, i tot it was confirmed... tho was juz verbally.... i trust her & left her to fill up e docs to rtn me... suppose to gt it by tonite coz e daughter & son-in-law nt back fr holiday... & guess wat, last nite, she actually decided to change her mind... moreover e daughter & sil still gaf us some lousy & lame excuses.... i was so sad... so upset... to e extend tat i scolded HIM... i've tried prayin so hard... but end up still e same.... make me happy for nothing.... fortunately, i've gt bibi wif me... & pin too.... my conversation wif pin, ended wif a prayer... coz pin was unwell... initially was so unwillin to even utter a simple prayer.... but i felt, e more unwillin, e more i shdnt gif in to my flesh.... so i prayed for his health & e'thing....

tis mornin was still sad... but manage to b bring myself to praise HIM once again.... went to look for the aunty & had understd her 'real' reasons.... told her tat if she's still willing later of e yr, do let us noe as we're realli interested.... so at e same time, we'll leavin it to HIM to provide us....

U'll ALwaYs B iN MY hEArT

She's ever so bubbly, jovial and making e'one feel so comfortable.... She's e one who told me tat there's always different ones comin into our path & impacting us at different phase of our lives... N she had made such great impact in my life nearly 10 yrs ago when i first came back to CCC.... It was thru her tat i've got to know my spiritual parents... She gave us (me & bibi) our family names - Baby Jaws & Jo Jumbo... Will never 4get e day she brought me to sentosa.... YES, Juz e both of us... We had so much fun.... Tat was also e day she brought me to her spiritual parents plc (& subquently oso my spiritual parents)... We stayed overnite.... Come to tink abt it, tat was so long ago.... But it's always in my mind.... So much abt her... & she none other den MONSTER.... one who had impacted my life, & lives of many others too....

Juz came back fr her wake.... Her life was ever so full of ups & downs.... She was hospitalised, overcome sickness, dischrgd, recovered... Tis process kinda repeated a few times... But e'time, she managed to conquer e sickness.... However, tis cound was different... E'thing happened so sudden.... She went for her usual check-up last mon... Fainted & stopped breathin for 45mins... When doc finally revived her, she was in a coma.... Causin e brain deprived of oxygen for >1/2hr... She was den put on breathin aid.... On wed, after my visit at noon... I rec'd a msg sayin tat she finished her race in e aftn.... I'm sad tat she had left us... But yet happy tat she's now in heaven singing wif the angels...

Life is so unpredictable... From the wake, lookin back at her life & e many things.... I was reminded tat we shd all live our life to e fullest.... Fulfilling our purpose on earth... Living each day as tho there's no tml.... So tat as you leave here, there'll b no regrets....

4 e 1st time, my cg went out tgt to watch fireworks..... when my cg ldr msged me e nite b4... i immediately agreed.... so excited!!!

so we met for dinner @ lps... den adjourned to one fullerton to grab a gd view to watch e fireworks.... wow, e few of us where like super onz.... after e fireworks, we drove to west coast mac for drinks.... great rite!!! see, cg can b fun too.... it ned nt b mtg at home all e time... yet we can haf fun & bldg r/s....

FaM tRiP : JiAnGNaN + ShANGhaI dAY 3

tat morning after b'fast, we visited the 1st road & railway dual purpose bridge in China, taking 8yrs to complete without e help of foreigners - Nanjing Yangzi River Bridge. This bridge symbolises e Chinese independence & pride. Here, we saw some veri exquisite crystal cravings...

Nx we drove to e 'Xuan Wu' Lake for a quick session of photo-takin around e area.... Wahahhaa... wat a pose rite??? dun worry, wont do tat for my weddin photo-shoot... hahaha... Thereafter, the nanjing tour guide brought us to visit some jade exhibition den lunch...


Now we're on our way to Suzhou.... for the Taihu Lake Film & TV Studio... where e Kingdom of 3 Romance was filmed... the plc was sooo big... we couldnt even comb thru entire plc... perhaps u'll ned at least a full day's time to go round e entire plc....

tat dinner we were served with their local famous dish - BIG PorkRibs... the bones are really huge... but not much meat.... & we had an early nite rest....

tHE 2nd day, we're to set off fr hangzhou to nanjing (one of e 6 ancient capital cities of China).... b4 we leave hangzhou, they brought us to e tea merchant to taste e famous 'Xi Hu Long Jing' tea.... e air here is great!!! oh we saw tis big, fat caterpillar look alike insect.... after listenin to e long tok on e goodness of e tea... & many had bought... we drove off... here they stopped for a while to let us take some last pics of hangzhou... behind us is e 'Lei Fung' Pagoda at e westlake....




we had lunch & den headed straight to nanjing.... after a 3-4hrs drive... we finally reached our destination... 1st attraction stop @ nanjing - 'Zhong Hua Meng' juz not long after we stopped here for our sigh-seeing, e gloomy sky started to pour... tats y we didnt manage to take alot of pics here.... sob sob.... nite came, they brought us to tis shopping street at Wuxi - 'Fu Zi Miao'.... there we got some dvds at a pretty cheap price... but still nt as cheap as those ive gt previously fr my biz trip last time..... didnt manage to get any clothes, etc... time given was so short to comb thru e entire area.... arrrgh......

it had been quite long since my family last went for a holiday tgt.... tis trip was in fact a long awaited trip.... was supposed to go 2yrs back... in any case, we finally made it come true.... & wif even more pple - ew, pin & his mum... we had a gd 8 days holiday.... i enjoyed myself... tho pretty tired & at times a little frustrated.... still, it was great!!!

WOW... i seriously tink its good.... alot of new stuff tis yr.... plus e location is much better.... tho seatin capacity is lesser compared to national stadium.... you can oso catch a pretty good view of e'thing fr e sea to e sky.... & even the fireworks fr one fullerton & many other areas nearby.... perhaps, its even better den watchin in e hotels coz we can hear the sounds of the fighter jets, fireworks.... no regrets gg man... thanx jen! for jio'in us to go.....
