Can't believe tat i'm tat blur.... 2wks ago, my sis installed some anti-virus software... dunno how come instead of being a help tool, it kinda became a nuisance... the ms docs became a little weird... so we didnt to reformat the laptop.... i tot i've got all my wedding stuff in the D: drive... so happily gave the green light to reformat the laptop.... its was onli days after, den i realised, all my wedding prep stuff are ALL GONE..... i've even gotten all of them organised into proper folders, all ready to be burnt into a CD to keep as memento.... now, all my prep photos of the different stages & events, prep spreadsheets, etc are gone.... tho yest'd went thru my email, managed to recover some of the spreadsheets, still the photos are alot others are like no more.... both pin & myself are veri sad... but wat to do.... to look on the bright side, all these are & will alwaz be kept in our body harddisk.... =)

Sob Sob.... we put in so much time & effort... den e silly website onli keeps it for 28days after wedding... else gotta pay to extend or purchase a cd wif e website in it... but nt cheap yea.... good thing, pin copied every page & saved it.... so at least we can still keep it as momento.... hehehee... thanx pin!

Its finally Over?? Or shd i say Its juz the Beginning....

Its 13days after my wedding... Back from honeymoon... Back to work.... Back to reality....

Glad tat the wedding is over... there's like so much to prepare... however, like many haf told me... enjoy the process.... truly, i enjoyed the process.... tho there were times we squabbled over the tiniest matter.... its still fun... with the many help rendered by different ones... family, friends... we felt so blessed.... wanna thank God for the great weather & the entire day's events... coz pin & i had been prayin veri hard for no rain.... for the day's event to run smoothly... & for guests to be punctual.... I remembered, when the day was coming to an end.... i actually felt sad... sad tat the wedding is coming to an end.... afterall the many mths of prep, juz 1 day & its over... i'll b back to normal san again... the plain jane (joc).....

suddenly different ones have been asking me "hows ur wedding prep comin along??" "all done & prepared?" well, my answer is still "ehh... ok lah... still tryin to get things done..." there's simply too much details to look into.... esp, when u have a church wedding & dinner... its crazy, so much stuff.... juz abt a mth back, i was realli nervous.... coz tat time, there was realli alot of things not done.... & they are like big ticket items... so juz within a mth, we got our invitation cards for both church & dinner, caterer for church, wine for dinner, bedding stuff, honeymoon confirmed... so now we're left the loose details to tie up.... like gettin ang bao box for church, wrist corsages for my entourage, confirm the namelist & start writing & sending out the invitation cards &..... uhmm wat else?? so many more..... till i cant rem.... hahhaa....

wedding is always the 1st time for e'one (else, most of us)... & there're so many things u might overlook.... so i realli thank God for the frens around.... ever so willing to help, volunteer their service & remind us of the different things!!!

January 2008... A Special Mth...

Kan Cheong Kan Cheong!!! its less than 3mths to my big day.... not many wkends left... but there's still like so many things to be done... its like thousands of things to be done... i wasnt feeling like tat earlier.. suddenly it juz dawn on me tat there isnt much time left liao.... wish tat all my frens & relatives can make it for my big day to share our joy...

plus, this month, i'll be turning 1yr older again... sob sobz.... uhmm let me tink of wish list... hold your shopping first yah!!! will post it in my next post soon.... hang on there....

oh oh... juz had our dinner @ hog's breath (vivo) with my parents to celeb my mum's bday (actual day was yest'd).... ah huh, something different for my parents....

hAPPiE NeW YeAR!!!

Well its a new year... new beginning... Even if there are any unachieved stuff, move on... Aim to achieve in the new year... And set new resolutions again... Come to tink of it, there's no unachieved resolutions tat come to my mind at the moment ... Hahahaa... coz i didnt set any... Basically, i dun usually set resolutions for fear tat i cant get to do it... whahaha....

Wat a way to welcome the new year... I had a nite mare last nite... dreamt that e'thing on my wedding day went wrong... my Jie Meis are late... wat more, my MUA is late too... unapologetic still... then my future MIL & family juz woke up went we reached there... alamak!!! So scary till i gotta wake myself up... Told pin tis morning... & he said "Silly gal!!!"

Thank God its juz a dream... Frens, pls dun be late for my wedding k!! Whether u're helping out in on way or another, or juz joining us in our wedding celebration... U're part of the wedding party!!!

Well... it diDnt JuZ sToPPed tHeRe...

my 40 photos didnt juz stopped there... coz there werent any photos for our kua.... i felt alittle wasted... so e nx day i called my bridal studio up... to tell dem i wanna add a few more pics... pin & i had discussed.. both of us knew in our hearts the max no. photos we wanna add... & tats 4.... we could nego for lower price unless we add at least 10pics... in end we selected 5 extras... & we wanna remove 1 fr the 40.... but they say cant coz e colour were adjusted... uhmm still dun quite understd e logic tho... anyway i insisted tat i dun wan... in e end, they say will include tat for free... kept to our target still... realli thank God tat we could withstand e temptation all the seemingly fantastic deals to add more & more photos....

600plus... down to onli 40... its SeRioUsLY not eAsY...

We reached abt 230pm... stayed till abt 730... oooo.... tats like abt 5hrs... hahhaa.... yest, pin & myself, tgt wif bibi, ew & jesx was at our bridal studio lookin & lookin thru the 600 odd photos... pin & i took like an hr to go thru 1 round of all e pics... its realli not an easy task to choose onli 40 out of the many pics.... we gotta b hard & firm... we were pretty stringent even during our 1st cut... down to 200 odds pics... den the 2nd cut to abt 100 odd... thanx to u guys... who were so hard on us.... the last cut to 40 was the toughest & the most painful... there were many pics which i like but juz gotta gif it up.... tho pin did suggest toppin up... we did it.... & kept to 40.... so glad yet sad... on my way home, i was feeling sad... images of our pics kept flashing in my mind... well, to pay for more pics or to keep to the number of pics we haf... it's realli up to how u look at it...

FiNaLLY the much awaited day came... pin & i had been doin our little shopping to prepare for our yesterday's photo-shoot... more for him.. coz my gowns are all fr the bridal studio... so pin had a little more headache... geez... gotta see if the shirt matches my gowns... the ties matches the shirt... if shd or shd nt wear tie... blah blah... see, its nt as easy ya... as part of our preparation, i had my hair dyed & my final fitting last sun (28/10) & pin had his hair trimmed too....

i had abt 2hrs of make-up & hair-do for the 1st style... initially, we were both alittle stiff... hahhaa... but slowly it kinda got better & we're more relaxed.... the weather was fine till abt 3pm.. when we're abt to go for our outdoor shoot.... it started drizzling... i was so sad... they said probably gotta change another day... coz the sky is too gloomy & photos wouldnt turn out well... since, we had arranged wif ben & jerry & its indoor, we went ahead.... the weather became better.. so we went to marina south.... but on our way to east coast, it started drizzling.... it stopped after awhile tho.... it was pretty fun.... i didnt feel too tired thru'out the shoot except for my eyes... my eye-lids felt so heavy... after the entire shoot, i suddenly felt soo hungry & my legs were so tired.... poor pin was veri tired too... the worst thing was he had to carry me... whahahaa....

oh, i muz realli gif a BIG thanks for bibi... for being wif me for our final fit & photo-shoot...

pin & i finally had our dinner treat @ traders hotel Ah Hoi's kitchen.... i had purposely arranged it to be after our photo-shoot to kinda celebrate... hehheee... uhmm, its a long story how we got tis treat... oh & it was suppose to be at cafebiz instead... in any case, thank God for it... we had our fill... we kinda calculated & our dinner amounted to abt 150bucks.... wow!!! but it was seriously veri difficult to choose wat to eat coz e'thing are soo expensive... geez... here's some pics....

remembered slightly more den a month ago, i signed up a package?? went for my 1st body scrub... did the seaweed detox... pretty relaxing... & feeling sooo smooth now... but... arrhhh... yet i felt so exposed & naked juz now... heheheee..... in any case, was a good experience...

Our CRY: Church & Housing

pin & i had arranged to go 'church viewing' 2day... arranged wif thomson baptist church.... a little walkin to do fr novena station.... however, e plc is pretty nice.... & e person-in-chrg seems not bad too.... we still haf another church in mind.... if available, we'll arrange to take a look oso....

coral spring bto is out juz few days ago.... pin & i were discussing & contemplating if we shd go try for it... estimated delivery of possession is 2012.... haiz... tho usu will b earlier... but still.... wat shd we do??

last wk, jesx told me tat there's tis package... 6 sessions of massages with body scrub... i checked wif db & vivi the price... seems like its pretty reasonable... so we arranged to get down 2day to chk out the package.... who noes... e lady said the offer was over.... recommeded us another package.... more sessions wif flexibility of doing watever treatments... & use of the facilities... plus there's 0% interest instalment... i was nt interested at all... tho it seemingly looks quite attractive.... coz i wanna be focused & nt fall into such 'seeminly looks fantastic' deals.... dun wanna b an easy sales target.... hehehee.... claps claps.... to cut the long story short... we ended up getting 6 sessions of massage & body scrub (3 each) for the earlier price which we're comfortable.... e package allows us to choose any types of massage & body scrub too.... tis my 1st time takin up such packages.... pampering myself.... geez..

jesx, dun tink so much liao... u may b tinkin tat u're nt e one gettin married... y on earth, spend such $$... nvm, juz go ahead & enjoy all the 6 sessions...

MU Trial....

Woke up at 920, wash up den to prac e songs coz tml i'm sts.... den went down to my bridal studio for gown fittin... to cnf my evenin gown & outdoor shoot gowns.... josh had to choose his suit oso.... reall pray tat all alterations will turn out well.... esp for josh suits....

den we went for our weddin shoes hunt... still couldnt get sth nice, fitting & reasonably priced..... haiz.... evening we headed to pretty box for my make-up trial..... uhmm not bad... hehehee..... no pics?? ehh.... shy la... geez....

Y PLaY SucH a tRicK oN US???

26sep, i tot it was confirmed... tho was juz verbally.... i trust her & left her to fill up e docs to rtn me... suppose to gt it by tonite coz e daughter & son-in-law nt back fr holiday... & guess wat, last nite, she actually decided to change her mind... moreover e daughter & sil still gaf us some lousy & lame excuses.... i was so sad... so upset... to e extend tat i scolded HIM... i've tried prayin so hard... but end up still e same.... make me happy for nothing.... fortunately, i've gt bibi wif me... & pin too.... my conversation wif pin, ended wif a prayer... coz pin was unwell... initially was so unwillin to even utter a simple prayer.... but i felt, e more unwillin, e more i shdnt gif in to my flesh.... so i prayed for his health & e'thing....

tis mornin was still sad... but manage to b bring myself to praise HIM once again.... went to look for the aunty & had understd her 'real' reasons.... told her tat if she's still willing later of e yr, do let us noe as we're realli interested.... so at e same time, we'll leavin it to HIM to provide us....

WhY muz it B a RING???

A ring is of course a circle and it symbolises of eternity and everlasting as it has no beginning and no end. Juz like a marriage, it speaks of eternity.

Yeah, pin & i had came tgt a few yrs ago... we first met as frens.. then tis simple, basic level of frenship developed into another level of frenship... despite advices askin us to tink twice, comin fr our loved ones, reminding us of our age difference... we carried on building tis frenship.... coz we've prayed, tot & toked thru... so now here we r... we've reached a time where we're preparing tgt for our nx phase of life.. some of ever told me tat we can take months & months to prepare for the BIG day.. the wedding day... n b so focused on it till we 4got all abt why is all these happenin... so, more imptly is our preparation for our marriage... i tot it veri true... geez...

So yest i happened to leave office alittle later den usual... & pin happened to leave office alittle earlier den usual.. we both met up... ended gg to orchard with no prior plans made.. & we walked into a jewellery shop... tat nite we bought OUR wedding rings... we're so happy... esp me coz i've got a budget set for the wedding rings... didnt wan to splurge too much on juz the rings... coz to me, its nt e how expensive the rings cost... its the significance... & tat we understood e significance... the rings tat we had our eyes on were above our budget... so i've decided to excercise my little gift again & spoke to e sales person... after pressing the buttons of e calculator vigorously... he managed to gif us a price tats veri near our budget... juz 5bucks above our budget... we accepted.... so in 6 - 8 weeks time, we'll be gettin our new wedding rings as both our sizes r alittle too small... they'll be makin a pair for us....

1sT GoWn fiTTiNG

tHanKs bIbI, jEsX & CuI for makin time to go for my 1st gown fittin... it was FUN.... 4 e 1st time, u feel soo like a PrINcEsS... tryin & tryin... changing & changin.... some were nice... but some were ok lah... but most were like too BIG.... wahahaa... oso guess i gotta try ways to make my skin tone more even... geez... will try to avoid the sun..... will b mtg up wif e designer to discuss abt my gown design in jun...



we were all famished after the fitting... so we headed LaI LaI for dinner... suggested by jesx & bibi... we had a cheese & ham toast to share (highly recommended by bibi) & 2 side dishes - salted fried chic & some squid... pin, jesx & bibi each had the beef noodle..as for me, i tried the lu rou rice (oso recommended by bibi.. wat more, ew oso said its nice)... its yummy... ermmm.. the pork has got the layer of fat... i didnt eat it tgt... but i suppose it'll be fantastic if its eaten tgt wif the meat... great & price reasonable.... can gif it a try ya!!!!

tHE RiNG

my lovely proposal ring had finally been done... coz my finger is realli too tiny... heheee.... size 6 leh... so the casing gotta be made from scratch... so it took quite awhile to be ready... so on 21 apr, dear pin went to pick up the ring & brought it to sgh coz i was wif bibi e entire day.... i was sooo happy... i noe it muz haf cost many mths of pin's salary... thanx pin for tis lovely gift...

oh & tml i'll b mtg vivi for shoppin... havnt been shoppin ever since my weddin prep commenced... coz ned to save every little tat i could.... uhmm shd i juz slurge alittle tml?? heheheee... dinner will b mtg sam... & ling if she can leave work early enuf.... soo excited... gonna b mtg dem...
